A very dear friend is getting married next weekend. It's a small intimate beach affair...and as the friendly resident photographer, I went on a scouting mission today. Such fun! I only had time to capture a little of the scenery..but rest assured there will be more to come.
I am experimenting with some editing options..so thanks for your understanding! Oh..I've also been tweaking my logo..check it out and let me know what you think, pretty please!! (I adore comments and suggestions of any kind!) Please also be on the lookout for a post containing the updated Rules Of Etiquette..with the influx of photos, I thought it a good time to review copyrights and property...blah blah blah etc etc etc!
So..getting ready for the upcoming LONG holiday weekend. So busy!! Looking forward to fun times and great photo opportunities. See you all back here when things slow down a smidge!
Everyone stay safe..but enjoy your festivities!
Peace and Love!

Museum of Science and Industry..
Oh My Goodness! I have totally been meaning to post these..I have no idea where my brain has been..but I do apologize! Now usually anything with the words Science AND Industry sends me immediately into snoozeville..but I took one for the team...and I must admit I was more than pleasantly surprised. I might have even learned a thing or two! Shocking I know! But seriously, we had a great time in Chicago and I can't wait for another visit when I have more time (isn't that ALWAYS what I say?)...
Enough of my babble...here's what you came to see...
I'm not real clear on what any of that has to do with science or industry..but cool nonetheless. And here are just a few random shots of Chicago I wanted to throw in as well...
Yep. Can't wait to go back. And just a quick schedule update..I have 2 (YES 2!!) upcoming wedding sessions and a maternity shoot. So busy!
And a special Congratulations shout out to my handsome brother and lovely sister-in-law as they welcome a new addition to the family. Looking forward to scheduling a session with you! (I love you guys!)
Peace and love!

A Wedding in the Windy City...
09 June 2011
Dear lovely and adoring fans,
I will be out of town for a few days but I promise lots of pictures and tons of fun when I return! I miss you already.
I want to, in the meantime, share with you my new motto. Often, when reading or researching, I stumble upon things that speak to me. Most of the time I read something and there is a moment where it all comes together. Sometimes I wander into something that embeds itself into my soul...these small pieces of clarity rattle around in my head and heart for awhile until I need them to make sense. My photography started out as a passion..something that I enjoyed...something for ME. Perhaps it was meant to be something else entirely...
From this day forward I will think bigger, dream bigger and expect bigger in my life. I remove all small thinking from my mind. I will attract bigger opportunities, bigger resources, and bigger ways to show my talents. I will impact and help more people in a bigger way.
It is written,
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Psalm 32:8
I am thankful for the creative curiosity that God has given me and for the ability He has developed in my heart. I pray that I may continue to do what I love..and that I may share that love with the world around me. May the impact that I make be "bigger".
See you soon.
Peace and love.

Chalk to me..
The following is the reason I love living where I do..always something happening, usually involving the beach and the sunshine. I know, right? So today's event was 'Chalk the Walk'..in which artists (and some 'this is what I do' small people) brought their best sidewalk chalk and some worldly inspiration to the Boardwalk for an art explosion.
A.Maze.Ing. And so much fun. Summer is upon us. Enjoy!
Peace.
