Oh Baby!..

I just returned from a lovely visit in Tennessee! It was a wonderful trip..and I even had the opportunity to snap a few pictures of my beautiful family. We are at the 6 month mark with Baby Addison...I can't wait to see them again next month and update the growing belly!

I could be a little bit partial, but aren't they just the cutest little people?! Thanks Slaven Family for being such good sports!!
So much to be thankful for this holiday season!
Peace and Love!

Another Car Show?..

Oh Yeah! What a great Saturday! Girls Day Out started with a trip to the local Farmers Market...

From there..we followed the signs (and the road) to a field full of shiny vintage classic beauties.

And then we treated ourselves to Frozen Yogurt! I love my life!! And my girls!!
So much happening in the next few weeks. I have a newborn session, a maternity session, a great party, a holiday session with a wonderful family, tons of travel, and even some cutie patootie Halloweenies! Shew...!!!
Enjoying the little things!
Peace and Love!

Classic Cars..

We headed over to the Naval Base today for some family fun. Fleet Fest...car show, live band, Navy stuff, and tours of the ships. Cool right? Yeah...since we are staring down the end of a Naval career! It was a beautiful day...the sky was blue, the sun was bright, and the cars were hot! See for yourself...

Oh yeah...I'm a 1969 Cherry Red Ford Mustang type of gal. In case you were wondering!
Peace and Love!

Sorry About That...!!

Note to self: Do not begin a Photography Challenge in a month that has no free days!! Yeah...so my apologies to all of you! It seems as if life has conspired against me of late and I have been unusually busy. Sadly..not with my camera. That said..my photography has..unfortunately..taken a back burner to reality! I promise to rectify this sad and pathetic situation very soon.
And just in case you were not already aware...we are creeping into the holiday season! Now is a great time to book those photography sessions..think Halloween photos of the Goblins, Thanksgiving photos of the Turkeys, and Christmas photos of the Elves!! Or something like that!!
In all seriousness...as you plan your get togethers and feasts, as you rejoice in loved ones near and far, as you reflect on a year spent and welcome a year beginning...take a moment to breathe deep, hug your family, and give thanks. Remember..we are fortunate. There are soldiers and sailors still fighting for us.
Weepy Weepy!!! SO...October brings us into Autumn and gives us a spooky day of fun! I am hopeful that I will be able to re-visit the Challenge (let's be honest..I need to just start over huh?) and that creativity is plentiful!!
See you soon!
Peace and Love!

Day Fourteen..

Today we take time to smell the roses. OK maybe not roses...but certainly a few flowers nonetheless. I must admit that I did not venture out of the house today..and since I don't keep a supply of beautiful flowers on hand (actually, I might need to speak to my darling boyfriend about the lack of flowers in my life!)..I am digging into the photography files to complete today's challenge!
Day Fourteen: Flowers:

There you go. A little trip down botanical lane!
Tomorrows challenge is more than a little exciting! See you then!
Peace and Love!

Day Thirteen..

Stand back! Today we concentrate on distance shooting. Like close up photography, I am still perfecting this technique. Here are my best shots. In my opinion.
Day Thirteen: From A Distance:

Please be aware that the last two were not only shot from a distance...but from a moving vehicle as well! Impressive I know! Or just really random!
A brand spanking new challenge tomorrow. See you then!
Peace and Love!
